A meeting convened by the electoral body IEBC to update stakeholders on the commission’s level of preparedness almost turned chaotic,with the commission finding itself in a tight spot to demonstrate its ready to conduct a free, fair and credible poll come October 26th. And while the stakeholders present were almost unanimous that the commission is not ready for the poll, three members of the team tasked with overseeing the impending fresh election beamed with confidence that the October 26th election will be above reproach.
