I'm very thankful that I still get to see F59 locomotives on the Lakeshore Line in 2022! This catch was extra special as F59 560 had just received a fresh coat of paint. If you look closely, the GO logo on the front is now in the new Metrolinx colour, which is quite disappointing as it would have been nice to keep the same colour throughout on the F59's.

Another unfortunate thing related to this catch, is that this train was 6 cars long, alot shorter than the usual 10 on the Lakeshore. With the schedules being reduced effective tomorrow, we may be seeing many more 6 cars trains on the line over the next few months.

F59 560 was pushing 6 cars westbound from Union to Oakville at 102 km/h. It passed by Birchwood Park in Clarkson at 10:01 AM on January 7, 2022.
