After coming to power in Punjab it was the first budget for AAP and Bhagwant Mann. Punjab finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema presented his first budget this week. As popularly known for it's freebies, free power upto 300 units was a major announcement done by the government in this year's budget. He gave more than 1.50 lakhs. Around 25000 new recruitments will be held in government jobs. Government has sanctioned 740 crores rs for mega job trials. 36000 contractual employees will also be regularized for which additional 540 crores Rs have been approved. Also for the health 24% budget is increased.
