2024 Wells Fargo Championship: Prize Money Breakdown and Winner's Payout
The PGA Tour moved to North Carolina for the sixth signature event and at the famed Quail Hollow Club, the pros are fighting it out for the last glory before the second major championship in Valhalla. The Wells Fargo Championship, which started on May 9th, will soon be coming to an end, giving out one of the highest payouts for the winners.
Just like other signature events, the Wells Fargo Championship is also a limited-field, no-cut event. The aforementioned criteria guarantee that every player will receive some part of the $20 million prize purse. Moreover, after Hideki Matsuyama and Ludvig Aberg’s withdrawal and Scottie Scheffler’s absence from Quail Hollow, the field was cut short to 68 players, giving a little bit more for the players. However, the winner would earn $3.6 million regardless.
