On the question of privatization of railways, Railway Minister Ashwin Vaishnav bluntly said that there is no talk of privatization in the railways. Referring to his predecessor Piyush Goyal, the Railway Minister said that he has cleared the situation in Parliament regarding this. Piyush Goyal had said that I want to clarify that Indian Railways will not be privatized and it will remain with the government. It is the property of the Government of India. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had come to inspect the Banaras railway station.
