Whilst taking the Trans-Mongolian railway from Moscow, on our way to Beijing, the train bogies needed to be changed after crossing into China from Mongolia due to the narrower rail gauge. This was done at the Erlian border station in China.

The old bogies are rolled out from under us and the new ones follow on the same track. Once lined up, the hydraulics are attached and we're lowered back down.
