East Midlands Trains run their Class 43 HST's Class 222 Merdian and Class 158s into the station, the Class 43's and Class 222's run the London St Pancras to Sheffield expresses while the Class 158 work the Liverpool Lime Street to Norwich Trains which suffers from overcrowding
