"Ey Güzel Qırım" is a Crimean Tatar folk song about the deportation of the indigenous people of Crimea from their native lands in 1944.

Although in the 1990s the survivors were able to return home, after the Russian occupation of the peninsula in 2014, many Crimean Tatars were once again forcefully displaced or illegally imprisoned.

Therefore, I translated and performed this Crimean Tatar song into Ukrainian to present the history of my homeland's indigenous people, spread awareness of the issues of the current occupation, and share hope for Crimeans who lost their home.
