Farmers, clergy, women's organisations and other relevant stakeholders in the Eastern Cape are convening in Queenstown to pray for rain to break the worsening drought in the province.
While the Eastern Cape Department of Agrarian reform and Rural development has been actively assisting farmers, good rain is urgently needed to help to protect the province's agricultural industry.
