This panel discussion took place at Student Central, Malet Street, London, on 15th September 2016.
Chaired by Justin Schlosberg of the Media Reform Coalition, Real Media's Kam Sandhu was joined on the stage by film and TV director Ken Loach, along with Des Freedman (Media Reform Coalition), James Schneider (Momentum), Greg Philo (Glasgow University Media Unit), Angela Towers (No More Page 3), and Chris Nineham (Stop the War Coalition).
Each gave a presentation on the state of corporate media, bias and misrepresentation of political issues, and what may be done to improve and reform.
After audience questions and observations, the panel responded, and Kam promoted the Real Media app which will aggregate a variety of trusted independent news sources, local news, and an event calendar - it will be launched during the forthcoming 10 city tour organised by Real Media and the Media Reform Coalition.
