The 2017 Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco, CA was a lot of fun. I hadn't ever witnessed the parade but have always wanted since I heard about it. Derek Gregory and Steven Tze went with me to shoot it, and thankfully we decided to go early to try to get photos before it started while participants were getting ready. The hour before it actually started was my favorite part of the parade. During that time, I realized that it would be hard to get some music during the very crowded parade, so I happily recorded a couple songs which were performed by the Hayward High School Marching Band.
