Shiradi Ghat is a mountain pass on the western ghats that connects the coastal port city to the Karnataka state capital Bengaluru through the National Highway NH-75. Shiradi is a village on this NH-75 situated in Puttur taluk of Dakshina Kannada district, its a few kilometers after passing through all the winding roads and getting down closer to the coastal region's sea level altitude. The road especially the ghat road is all well made of concrete and in good condition, the drive through this ghat is really amazing, it offers scenic beauty of nature with lush green mountains, rivers and streams,.. check out the video of shiradi ghat (on road & aerial view) that i could capture while traveling from Bengaluru to Mangaluru
