Thousands of electronic files stolen by cybercriminals from the city of Columbus last month have now been released publicly onto the dark web.
International hacker group Rhysida, which claims to have stolen 6.5 TB of city government data, threatened to release the information publicly if a ransom of 30 BT, a value of a little less than $2 million, was not paid.
Rhysida claims information stolen from city servers includes passwords, log-ins, databases, and access to city cameras.
