Three Radovan Karadzic supporters were Friday (21/11) disqualified from weekend polls as Bosnians Serbs prepared to vote in elections seen as a chance to end their economic and political troubles.
In a new show of force against Karadzic, who has twice been indicted for war crimes, the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) banned three members of his ultranationalist party from standing.
The OSCE, which is organising the elections, said it was acting after the Serb Democratic Party (SDS) defied an order to remove posters of Karadzic.
