For the first layout, I used Bloom Street 02 for the background. I took 2 sheets of Bloom Street 05 and cut a 2" border around all 4 sides of the paper. I placed this in a diamond pattern on the background sheet. I then took American Crafts Cardstock Plum (71008) and Blush (71014) and cut photo mats; one color on 1 side and the other color on the other side. I then took Bloom Street 17 and used 3 of the accent/journaling cards to embellish the page. For the final embellishments on these pages, I took the Bloom Street Charms (310975) and the Mixed Embellishment Pack (310978). I anchored the photo mats with the charms and used brads I had in my stash to attach them. I took the jewels from the embellishment pack and accented the bottom side of the rectangles.
For the second layout, I used Bloom Street 10 for the background. I took Bloom Street 04, 09, and 14 and cut 8 strips that are 6" x 1" out of each paper. Using both sides of each paper, I laid out 6 strips (1 of each paper side) in blocks that are 6"x 6". I alternated the way I placed the blocks to add some movement to the page. I framed the blocks with the Plum cardstock and accented the top with more jewels from the embellishment pack. Lastly, I used 3 more accent cards from Bloom Street 17 matted with Plum cardstock. On these, I used Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Strips (01230) to elevate the accent cards.
