Seppo Tapio Aleksanteri Korjus (born February 10, 1961 in Vehkalahti) is a former Finnish javelin thrower.
At the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, the Finnish champion of 1987 and 1988 won the Olympic gold medal with 84.28 m ahead of Jan Železný and Seppo Räty. Before the games it was already clear that Korjus was in brilliant form when he was able to improve the Finnish national record twice, most recently to 86.50 m.
Tapio Korjus, who was 1.96 m tall and had a competitive weight of 105 kg, was ideal for javelin throwing, never reached the class of 1988 again.
