Planning for a flounder fishing trip is key to getting the best results once you hit the water. Before this trip I found a very interesting area by using Navionics charts that had two beautiful looking holes where surely doormat fluke would be found. But, things didn't turn out the way I planned as the holes on the chart were no longer there. A little exploring and on-the-water adjusting turned a potential terrible day into some good fishing. The video was shot while kayak fishing New Jersey but the principles apply to fluke fishing in general.
