Parliament’s Committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises has given the governor of the Bank of Uganda Emmanuel Tumusiime Mutebile until next Monday to furnish it with all the documentary evidence on how seven banks were liquidated.
They have asked for inventory reports, loan and customer deposit schedules, and statements of affairs, starting with Teefe Bank which was closed in 1993.
