Mnemba Island is surrounded by a vast coral reef measuring several miles in diameter. It is the most popular snorkeling spot in Zanzibar, Tanzania, and the reef listed as a marine reserve.

We had an amazing time snorkeling on Mnemba Atoll and loved every second of it. The boat trip out there took about 20 minutes from Nungwi beach.

The water is aquamarine blue, like on pictures. Visibility was fantastic. The surroundings were paradise like, turquoise sea, white beach. Fish were everywhere, all the colours of the rainbow.

On our way to the Mnemba island we were lucky and saw dolphins, and even had a dive with dolphins.
