Hello everyone,
In the last 2 months, I've decided to take a trip to learn about Japanese wood craftsmanship. Now let's come to the stunning ancient city of Kyoto, the city of thousand-year capital. This area is also the origin of many traditional crafts (Including Inami Woodcarvings) and I would like to inform you that most of the footage and interviews were done here. Kyoto's famous for its numerous classical Buddhist temples so we'll start with a Dai-Busshi Master Craftsman: Watanabe Seyama-san. "Busshi" in Japanese refers to a Sculptor craftsman who carves Buddhist statues. And "Dai-Busshi" is the best of Busshi Sculptors. This time, I'll show you how a Dai-Busshi carving a Japanese cypress wood board from a rough sketch to Buddhist statues.

To make this video getting better, I've written the script very carefully and hired a professional Male Voice Over to reading it, at the same I have added some shots of mine, new effects work, new music added and a new creation is created as follows: "The Best Of Buddhist Sculptors "DAIBUSSHI" Master Craftsman: Watanabe Seyama-san "
