In this message, we look at the importance of abiding in Christ in the church age. This is a message that cannot go on earth and feature everybody must understand the eternal importance of abiding in Christ according to the scriptures. There are three main points to drag out of the scripture this morning and they are the fact that we must approach the Lord by faith, but we must always be in His word as believers, and we should always seek a heart of repentance. Every believer must heed the call to abide in Christ and seek the fill of the Holy Spirit and the life of Jesus Christ. It would be good for every believer to come to the realisation that independence from the vine is impossible and that if a continuance of independence is realised in the life of the believer that a life will be burned up forever. There is much blessing in a life that abides powerfully and willingly in Christ Jesus. It is to know and ask and to have that which Christ has given us according to His desire and will. The world needs more fruit bearers and disciples of Jesus Christ
