The Cacoy Doce Pares World Federation (CDPWF) will be rolling its red carpet for you all on Aug. 3-9, 2014 here in Cebu, Philippines for the holding of the 2014 SGM Cacoy Cañete Filipino Martial Arts Festival.
This year's 2014 "Grand Gathering" is in commemoration of SGM Cacoy Cañete's 88 years in the practice of the Filipino Martial Arts, Eskrima, and most importantly, in celebration of his 95th natal day on the 8th of August, 2014.
For the 2nd time, CDPWF, will host 3 Major events during the same week. These are: International Filipino Martial Arts Seminar/ Workshop, the World Eskrima/Arnis Championships, and the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
The events are open to all FMA enthusiasts and participants from all over the world.
The stage is set for Grandmasters and Masters from Australia, Europe, US, and the Philippines to showcase their mettle in hand-to-hand combat, ground fighting, and fma weaponry during the Seminars / Workshops.
Delegations of stickfighters from Australia, Canada, Europe, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, and the United State of America, are gearing up to compete in the World Eskrima/ Arnis Championships.
The week-long event will be highlighted by the 4th Doce Pares Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony which will happen on the evening of SGM Cacoy's 95th birthday.
