ABERDEEN, Ohio (WKRC) - The Brown County Sheriff's Office has identified the owner of a vehicle pulled from the Ohio River Wednesday with possible human remains found inside.
Crews pulled the car from the river in Aberdeen Wednesday. On Thursday, the sheriff's office said the car is registered to Jesse Flaugher. Flaugher, 85, was reported missing from Brookville, Ohio, in 2006.
Additional testing to identify the remains found will be done at the Montgomery County Crime Lab.
A pickup truck was also pulled from the river Wednesday, but nothing suspicious was found inside.
