If you go to the Asian bakery, probably you will see this kind shape of pizza bread. This is not the authentic pizza bread from Italy, but the modifications. On the day I am going to make the bread, there was no egg left in my fridge. Since I have a strong determination to make this bread (even though I have no egg left), I went for the eggless bread recipe and it turned out to be out of my expectation! The bread was unbelievable soft and moist. I was very surprised because that was also my first time to make eggless bread recipe. Hehe, so, here is the eggless bread recipe
Difficulty: Difficult (if you knead by hand), Easy (if you have bread machine or bread dough beater)
Preparation time: 2 hours
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Eggless bread recipe (made 8 pizza bread):
350 gr (3 cups) bread/ strong flour (higher gluten content)
240 ml (1 cup) warm water (37C or 95F)
Pinch of salt
3 tbsp white sugar
5 gr (2 tspn) dry active instant yeast (Thanks to Tessguban)
2 tbsp olive/vegetable oil
Let the dough to rest for 30-60 minutes (depends on the environment temperature, if it has raised for doubled in size, it is enough).
For topping:
8 sausages
½ big onion, sliced
Pinch of black pepper
Pinch of salt
Hot sauce: 1 tbsp chili sauce + 1 tbsp mayonnaise
Sweet sauce: 1 tbsp sweet condensed milk + 1 tbsp mayonnaise
PS: you can create your own favorite sauce!
