When you are picking a toilet supply line make sure it is 7/8 inch to connect to connect to the fill valve. The other side of the supply line needs to match your shut off valve. The most common size is 3/8 compression, but is could be 1/2 compression or 1/2 IPS.
If you purchase a universal toilet supply line it will have bushing to fit onto any size shut off valve.
