Watch Part 1 here [ Ссылка ]
So I am back from my vacation and what better way to start the new season than with a balcony tour. We have some good news and some bad news, but luckily nothing is very dramatic. Here are some highlights of my orchid collection:
The Phalaenopsis violacea developped a wonderful fragrance which indeed reminds me more of cinnamon! I can now say this is definitely not a bellina!
Oncidiums are doing well for the main part, many are sending out flower spikes as well, or growing new leads. They can bloom whenever they feel like it, it seems they don;t really have a season.
As expected the Vandas are doing good and the blue Vanda is in bloom yet again, the Pacharas are really prolific hybrids.
The Bulbophullym medusa and Stanhopea are both losing a new growth, I can only associate this to the heat, they are not rotting. It seems the heat is not for them.
As a last surprise, I will be moving out next year and have already started working on a greenhouse! I will probably make a video with the process, so things are really exiting for me in the months to come :D Hope you stick around for the adventure!
