PNG continues to dominate regional sporting events in the South Pacific when Jonathan Paschallis won a gold medal in the heavy weight 80 kg plus division during the Oceania Championship held in Papette, Tahiti last weekend.

Paschallis from Namatanai in New Ireland Province is the most experienced fighter in the Taekwondo PNG stock and leads the core group of athletes in this individual sport.
