How I make homemade mayo as a Naturopathic Doctor with only 5 ingredients: Here's what you'll need - Avocado Oil, Apple Cider Vinegar (your choice of salt), Salt (I like Redmond Sea Salt), One Whole Egg (ideally pasteurized), and Mustard.
What we're going to do is crack one egg into a cup, then add:
- 1/4 cup of Avocado Oil
- Two teaspoons of Apple Cider Vinegar
- Half a teaspoon of Mustard
- Follow that with half a teaspoon of Redmond Sea Salt.
From there, what we're going to do is whisk it for about 1 minute or so until it gets nice and creamy. You can see we have perfect consistency!
