In Nigeria, achieving universal access to electricity stands as a paramount national development goal. Currently, over 90 million Nigerians find themselves without access to electricity, and even those fortunate enough to be connected to the grid often endure less than 12 hours of electricity per day.
To address this pressing issue, RMI's Energy Transition Academy Global Fellowship Program in Nigeria has taken significant strides. Through this program, energy professionals are being empowered in multiple ways: from fostering peer-to-peer learning and providing advanced technical training to facilitating networking and leadership opportunities. Together, we are working towards a brighter and electrified future for all Nigerians.
