If you like to catch fish and be able to eat them, then surf fishing is for you. I would say it is a very consistent way to catch fish that are both great tasting and in season. Pompano only have to be 11" and this time of year we have a very good Pompano and Whitting fishery just off the beach. We also commonly catch Sheephead, Black Drum, and Redfish while surf fishing.
