The Singapore Red Cross is committing S$100,000 for urgent medical supplies to Sri Lanka. It has also launched a public fundraising effort to buy medicine and equipment for the country. Some fear the Sri Lankan healthcare system is close to collapse, with many emergency surgeries called off because of a lack of medical supplies. Benjamin William, Secretary General of the Singapore Red Cross, shared more details.
