someone shot...or took a hammer to? the display on the gas pump so you couldn't see how much gas you were pumping if you paid via card. In the old days, you could pump your gas BEFORE you paid and this would be troublesome in that situation too.... but...too many people stole gas even though there was cameras, so now we have to prepay.
