August 2020 signaled the start of a new era for Brentford Football Club, moving from their home of over 100 years Griffin Park to the brand new Brentford Community Stadium. The club had played at Griffin Park since 1904 and was famed for having a pub in each corner of the ground.
The Brentford Community Stadium will also see the return to the capital for London Irish rugby club, after playing at the Madejski Stadium in Reading for 20 years.
