Central Washington University men's rugby improved its 2020 season record to 7-0 Saturday afternoon with another blowout in a 71-5 victory over the Seattle Saracens inside Tomlinson Stadium.
"I'm happy with this win because if you told me at the start of the year we'd be 7-0, I'd take that," CWU Head Coach Todd Thornley said. "From our [the team's] point of view, as cliché as it sounds, we just go one game at a time."
The Wildcats scored just three more time in the half, to walk away with the win. Nickolis Haviland scored his first try of the game in the 59th minute and a Jones' conversion made it 57-0. CWU's final two tries came in the 74th an 77th minute thanks to the efforts of Max Riseham and Vanya Sturm, respectively.
