My first trip to the Pamlico Sound and I brought the kayak so I could get into the depths greater and waist deep. This was my first venture into the Outer Banks fishing. After purchasing the Off Highway Vehicle permit to drive on the beach, I conducted a pre-fishing trip hike along the beach for a cool 14.8 miles (see [ Ссылка ]). With the feet swollen and body dehydrated, I crossed the road and launched the kayak into the Pamlico Sound just south of Salvo. I wasn't sure where to fish or what species would be around, but I was confident I could find something in the sidescan sonar. Well...I was wrong. I didn't find much of any species except for a lot of grass.
Luckily, I was trolling some chartreuse lures and found some hangry Bluefish willing to entertain me for a bit. I hope you enjoy. Life is ticking....better get fishing!
