From Braithwaite (near Keswick) head up Barrow and descend the back side of it - it's a lovely descent (see my video). Look to descend down in to the valley to your left, don't climb back up - descend down and continue to push up the trail from there.
On top of Causey Pike, traversing the ridge is simply divine. I'm yet to experience a better ridgeline ride in the UK. Descending Scar Crag is a hike a bike and then from their it's a techy descent.
It's definitely one of the best downhills in The Lakes and the UK. I re-did Nan Bield Pass recently and this is a lot better in my opinion: a shorter climb up and a better descent. Top of Nan Bield awesome but once that's over it's very average...
