On the 9th and 10th June the next generation of health data scientists from across The Farr Institute’s four UK-wide centres came together for the first annual Farr PhD Symposium.
Over two days the twenty-six students were tasked with delivering either an oral presentation or a poster presentation and all were invited to make a short video about their PhD projects.
This video features Shifa Sarica from Farr Scotland, studying at The University of Aberdeen. Shifa's PhD project is assessing the health burden of a rare, multisystem autoimmune disease by conducting an epidemiological analysis of comorbidities in ANCA-associated vasculitis.
