We bring you some lesser known attractions near South Goa.
1. The Three Kings Church – Located atop a hill, overlooking the expansive stretch of Colva beach, Three Kings Church is shrouded in mystery. Church is opened only once a year. Locals usually do not go there at all, and definitely not after 6 PM. You can visit during the day for a dose of adventure and breath-taking views of the Goan shoreline.
2. Bamanbudu waterfall – The drive to this waterfall takes you through some of the stunning landscapes of rural Goa. Bamanbudo waterfall roars in all its glory during monsoons. There are no restaurants near the waterfall, therefore, it is advisable to pack some eatables, just in case.
3. The Cape, Goa – The Cape promises glorious views of the sea as waves crash against the rocky beach. There is a hotel by the same name and the restaurant serves delicious food. If you are looking for a relaxed lunch and good music with stunning views, this is the place to be.

Timing: We visited these places in September, 2021.

Safety tips:
Bamanbudo waterfalls is by the side of a narrow road, therefore it is advisable to be careful while walking on the road. The rocks near the waterfall are usually slippery and can be tricky to walk.
The Cape has many steep cliffs. If you travelling with children it is advisable to be careful.

Fuel cost
Food (depends on whether you are carrying it from home or eating from a restaurant) – We ate at The Cape restaurant which costed us ₹1500 for two persons.

Things we carried:
Apart from regular stuff like vehicle documents, first aid kit etc; we also carried the following things:
Water
comfortable footwear
umbrella
a pair for extra clothes

We did not use any one time use plastic, polythene covers.
