Due to the nature of the vehicle, the #Skoda #Enyaq Coupe iV isn't a true coupe, but it is interesting if you can get past the name. Although we've been promised a high-performance Enyaq RS, the sleeker variant gets it first. The all-electric RS is the Czech ID.5 GTX.
With 295 hp and 460 Nm (339 lb-ft), it matches its Wolfsburg sibling. With more horsepower and torque than the all-wheel-drive Superb Sportline 2.0 TSI, the RS is Skoda's most powerful production car ever.
Because of the electric motor, the Enyaq Coupe RS can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just over six seconds, and it can peak out at 112 mph (180 km/h). Topping the range is the 82 kWh battery pack, which takes 36 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%.
The RS variant is distinguished by its Mamba Green color, acquired from the Octavia RS. The swoopy shape was created for increased aerodynamic efficiency since the drag coefficient has fallen to 0.234. That's less than the slickest VW ID.5's 0.26 Cd or the GTX's 0.27 Cd.
The "Crystal Face" lighted front grille with 131 light-emitting diodes is standard on the top model. Aside from greater illumination, the electric SUV sports matrix LED headlights and LED taillights for a more sophisticated look. A typical sports suspension lowers the Coupe 15 mm in front and 10 mm in the back compared to a regular Enyaq. Wheels range from 18 to 21 inches in size and polish.
The Skoda Sportline will have a comparable appearance and a lower ride height than the RS but lacks the added punch of the crown jewel. A 62-kWh battery and single-motor, rear-wheel-drive variants with 177 horsepower (132 kW) or 201 hp are available (150 kW).
The Enyaq Coupe's WLTP cycle range is 339 miles (545 kilometers) with the larger battery and the 201-hp rear motor. To save battery life, an optional heat pump can be installed for heating and cooling.
The 13-inch infotainment touchscreen and 5.3-inch completely digital driver's display are standard across the range, as is the panoramic glass roof. Customers may add augmented reality head-up displays, a 13-speaker Canton sound system, and a wireless charging pad.
The Skoda Enyaq Coupe will be the company's most costly automobile ever, notably the high-performance RS type. By the end of the decade, three EVs will be available, all cheaper than the Enyaq pair.
