Intense Fish: Fly Fishing for Arctic Grayling in a High Altitude Montana Mountain Lake
Arctic Grayling, Cutthroat Trout and Cutbow Trout all appear in this episode of Intense Fish, presented by Bonafide Fishing.
In this exciting episode, Justin Kietzman and Jeremiah Almos of Bonafide Fishing pack the fishing and camera equipment over 10 miles and 5000 vertical feet to catch our first Arctic Grayling. Taking place at Emerald Lake, near Bozeman Montana, in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, we catch 10+ fish, and you can see exactly how we did it! This is Big Sky Fishing!
Tucked away in Hyalite Canyon, behind Hyalite Reservoir, in Gallatin National Forest. Montana Fly Fishing is some of the best in the country.
We use our 5 weight fly fishing rods and dry flies (Umpqua and Montana Fly Company flies) to catch these absolutely beautiful rare fish. Filmed using nothing but GoPros, we did our best to document our experience.
