Two people were killed in a double shooting in Denver overnight and police do not have anyone in custody.
It happened at about 12:40 a.m. in the Lex at Lowry complex near South Monaco Parkway and East Alameda Avenue, according to the Denver Police Department.
At 2 a.m., police tweeted that there had been a shooting in the 6700 block of East Cedar Avenue.
One person was killed and one person was transported to the hospital, police said. The second died at the hospital, police said at 8 a.m.
