This video that was created as a part of my action research project. It is meant to demonstrate how to integrate digital media such as Photo Story into Writer's Workshop as an alternate way to publish students' poetry in a K-2 classroom. These lessons can, however, be used in just about any grade if appropriately adapted. Students at our school embraced this way of publishing their work and the published pieces truly exceeded the teachers' expectations.
