The diverse Kenyan athletes are competing in 6 sports disciplines, including athletics, fencing, judo, rugby sevens, swimming, and volleyball. In athletics, Kenya has a strong representation with 44 athletes (25 men and 19 women. Some of the well-known athletes include Eliud Kipchoge, who is aiming to become the first man to win three Olympic marathon gold medals, and Ferdinand Omanyala, who is competing in the 100m race. Kenya’s participation in the Paris 2024 Olympics also marks the country’s debut in fencing, with German-born Alexandra Ndolo competing in the women’s épée events.
