In this 4th episode of Conversations on Health, Jai Hewlett and his little helper, Lee-anne, demonstrate how to use a cabbage leaf applied to the skin to bring relief from pain.
Cabbage Poultice Instructions:
1) Take 1 or more leaves off the head of cabbage
2) Roll it with a rolling pin, jar or glass until you hear the veins of the cabbage leaf popping and see cabbage juice coming out
3) Apply the cabbage leaf directly to the skin wherever you have pain or inflammation
4) Secure with plastic wrap or other covering
5) Leave on overnight
6) Remove the covering and the cabbage leaf
7) Re-apply as needed
