How to download files using the Wget command in Linux
the wget utility retrieves files from World Wide Web (WWW) using widely used protocols like HTTP, HTTPS and FTP.
This utility can be install any Unix-like Operating system including Windows and MAC OS.
wget has been designed for robustness over slow or unstable network connections; if a download fails due to a network problem, it will keep retrying until the whole file has been retrieved.
