In this accessible yoga class, we will focus on opening the upper spine and awakening the heart chakra (anahata) to create a bridge between the lower physical chakras and the upper intellectual energy centers (chakras). The heart chakra is the center of love, compassion, and connection, and this practice will guide you in releasing tension in the thoracic spine while nurturing a sense of emotional and energetic expansion.
Through a combination of slow, mindful movements, breathwork, and heart-centered postures, we will gently unlock the upper back and chest, encouraging freedom and lightness in the body and mind. This class is designed for all levels and will incorporate postures to stimulate the flow of energy through the spine, allowing you to feel grounded in your physical body while opening to higher consciousness.
This practice will leave you feeling centered, uplifted, and connected to your inner self, allowing the heart chakra to act as a bridge between your physical and spiritual sense of self. Come with an open mind and heart, and leave feeling a renewed sense of love and balance within.
