My friends, here are some of my observations and experiences with different brands and types of modelling paints, thinners, primers and varnishes. Every type of paint has its benefits and is suitable for certain tasks, and different modellers might prefer a certain brand or type - be it water based acrylic, lacquer, or something in between.
We take a look at Tamiya, AK Real Colors, Mr. Paint, Lifecolor, Mr. Hobby, Gunze, Vallejo, Ammo, Mission Models and VMS - brands which I was able to try and use, some for a very long time.
Of course, these observations are just my personal opinions, and if something didn't work for me or fit my needs, it doesn't mean it's bad. Every product on the market has something to offer.

Disclaimer: Most of the weathering products I use in my videos such as Ammo by Mig Jimenez, AK-Interactive, Wilder and VMS were sent to me for free, but with no obligations to promote them. I received a lot of them a long time ago, even before I started this channel. VMS is also one of my Patreon supporters. Being independent from big and exclusive sponsorship deals and showing you a wide variety of different brands and products was one of the founding ideas of this channel and I will always stand by this.
