American Dad is an animated show created by Seth Macfarlane which is about the Smith family consisting of Stan (Father), Francine (Mother), Steve (Son), Hayley (Daughter), Roger (Alien) and Klaus (Talking Fish). Other popular characters include Gregg and Terry (neighbours and new anchors), Brian Lewis (School Principal), Avery Bullock (CIA Deputy Director), Reginald the talking Koala Bear, Dick Reynolds and Jackson (Stan's CIA Colleagues) and Barry and Toshi (Steve's friends). The show is in a fictional city called Langley Falls in Virginia. The show is extremely famous for its brutal but random humour.
