Day 270🥩🔥 and I am back to eating after that 7 day water fast. I’m giving myself some space to eat some fruits over the next few days as a reward for completing that 7 day water fast. Even though I dropped about 7lbs during the water fast, the water only fast was for a reset/healing of my digestive tract and not for fat loss. Got me some good food on this day :)
8:30am - 1 grass fed beef patty (0.33lbs) + 4 strips bacon + 6 scrambled eggs (4 whole, 2 yolks) with ghee and salt
10:30am - 2 bowls berries and cheese that included 0.4lb organic raspberries + 0.4lb organic blueberries + 3oz kerrygold dubliner cheese
3:35pm - 1oz pork rinds
6:00pm - 0.3lb lamb chops (2pcs) + 0.6lbs organic air chilled chicken wings (8pcs) fried in beef tallow with salt
7:00pm - 0.5lbs red organic grapes + 0.4lb organic blue berries + 0.4lb organic raspberries 10:00pm - 1.0lbs red organic grapes + 2oz kerrygold dubliner cheese
I eat animal based products, mostly meat. I'm a father of 2 boys, husband to 1 wife :), business owner that started carnivore diet to lose weight, increase performance, and to be a better Dad. I always thought that people who did carnivore diet were fitness influencers doing it purely to spite vegans and get attention on the Internet, which is hilarious, but I guess not entirely true because it's been a blessing for me :) The reason I got started on this carnivore style of living is because one day while scrolling YouTube I ran across a @joerogandotnet podcast on @joerogan where Joe talked with @JordanBPeterson about Jordan's carnivore diet experience. Jordan shared his amazing story of changes on carnivore and even shared some of his daughter story overcoming crazy health issues on a strict version of this carnivore diet she calls the Lion Diet. Next I got The Carnivore Code by Dr. Paul Saladino @Paulsaladinomd on audible so I could listen to the "how to" do this correctly. During my daily lunch breaks I would watch videos by @KenDBerryMD and @ShawnBakerMD to learn more about how to do this correctly and here I am, down 53+lbs, sharing my carnivore diet transformation journey.
