Adam: What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer today, we're going to be taking a look at the Titan chain cable, snow tire chain on our 2020 Toyota Tundra. So what we have here is a ladder pattern, snow tire chain. And this is going to come with some rollers. These are going to be not the most aggressive chains you can get for this wheel. We have a lot more aggressive ones like the V-Bar style, but these are going to give you extra traction on top of whatever your tires normally get. So you are going to gain traction, but you are going to get the smoothest ride of them all.

So if you're just having these in your truck just to stay legal and or you just have them in your truck, because you need a little bit more traction, go ahead and grab these.A couple of things I like about the chains. One, it delivers a smooth ride. I like that. I don't really see a whole lot of heavy snow in Missouri. So that's perfect for my situation.

Also, we do have these little plastic pieces here, so right where the cable starts to get off of the sidewheel and onto the tread, it's going to be under a decent amount of tension this way. We're not going to have any thing sharp or anything like that hit it. Another thing i like about these changes, as you can notice, there isn't a whole lot of metal in front of our wheels. I'm a big wheel guy. I want to make sure that my wheels state nice and pretty and putting on tire chains just to get out of a situation.

I don't want my wheels to pay the price. So with this way, we really only have this little section and that's about it.And that's not going to do a whole lot of damage if any. So, that is something I like about these chains. Two things I don't necessarily love about the chains. We do have to buy a separate tensioner.

There are some that come with them built in. So if you don't want to make two purchases, just go ahead and make one. And we have that chain on our website. Another thing I don't really love about it is the case. So whenever you're putting these back in, whenever you get them for the first time there they fit in there. Great. But it's really difficult to get them back in there like that. So that's one downside to these, but you can get them in there. And this bag should last you a decent amount of seasons. But I definitely think that the chains are going to outlast the bag.So other than that, the only thing we really need to go over is one. They come with a pair of two. So if you just want to put them on the back, just grab one. And if you want to put them on all four and grab two, and also we just need to go over the installation process. So we can go over that with you. Now, first things first, what we want to do is lay out our chains and make sure that it's not tangled up or anything. And then another thing we need to make sure of is this little lever. We want to make sure that's on the outside of the tire. We're going to have to use it later. So now with that done, let's go ahead and grab the center of the chains, drape them over the tire and make sure they're nice and centered just like that.Now I will meet you around back and we're going to make our first connection. So on one side, we're going to have a little bit of excess cable. And then on the other side, we're going to have it's home. So what we're going to do is just kind of fit it in here. And I do suggest doing this in your garage first to find the right stud to Mount it to I'm going to use the second one, but might as well figure that out because one of them is going to get you the best fitment. And this one I think is going to be number two. So now I'm going to go ahead and meet you around front to make our second connection. So on the front, we're going to have this lever and what we want to do is open it up, which is going to extend that out a little bit more.So then we can get this cable through here. Try to get the second one again. There we go. Now it's like that. You can go ahead and close it and then you can use a little hook on one end to hook it onto our cables, and we're not done yet. Now what we need is a tensioner, but all we have to do is make sure that the hooks are facing away from the tires. And we want to be as symmetrical as possible whenever hooking these up, it's just going to help evenly distribute all that pressure on the chains in our tensioner. So once that's done one more
